What is MarketAlleys?

MarketAlleys is a financial news and data publication covering stocks, crypto, forex, commodities, indices and macro. Our goal is to show you what moved, why it moved and what matters next, with sources and timestamps you can check. We don’t offer trading or brokerage services.

Is MarketAlleys free?

Yes. News, analysis, calendars, market data, the Daily Brief and the Academy are free to read. MarketAlleys Pro ($2.99/month or $24.99/year) is optional and adds convenience features such as larger watchlists, alerts, a custom morning digest and a printable Daily Brief. Core news is never paywalled.

What is the Daily Brief?

A daily briefing published every morning (UTC) with the key moves, upcoming catalysts and stories to watch. Weekend editions focus on crypto, geopolitics and the week ahead. You can read it on the Daily Brief page or get it by email.

Are some reports written automatically?

Yes. The Daily Brief, Premarket Brief, Closing Tape and Week Ahead are produced by the MarketAlleys Research Desk using automated data processing and language tools from cited sources, and must pass strict validation before publishing. Reports that fail are held for human review. See our methodology.

Where does your market data come from?

From licensed and public market-data providers named next to every price, together with official sources such as central banks and statistical agencies. Prices are cached snapshots and may be delayed.

Is anything on MarketAlleys investment advice?

No. Everything we publish is information and education. Please read our risk disclaimer.

How do I manage or cancel MarketAlleys Pro?

Go to Account → Billing and open the billing portal to change plan, update payment details or cancel. Your access continues to the end of the paid period.

How do I unsubscribe from emails?

Every newsletter has a one-click unsubscribe link and a link to manage your preferences.

Can I contribute content?

We primarily produce our own content but welcome pitches from knowledgeable professionals. Contact the editorial team via the contact page. Paid placements follow our sponsored content policy, and companies can submit a press release.

How do I advertise?

How do I report an error?

What happened to the old site’s pages?

MarketAlleys was rebuilt in 2026. All articles kept their original addresses, and old section pages redirect automatically to their new homes.
